History

The CADÍ COOPERATIVE was founded in 1915 by a far-sighted group of people, who saw that the future required a new approach to farming.

The agricultural systems of the region were restructured thanks to their new socio-economic theories.

Butter production, which began with only 200 litres of milk daily, increased under the trademark CADÍ, until it won uncontested market supremacy.
Over the years our cheeses have continued to earn higher and higher prestige and world-wide appreciation.

Avances in breeding and the rearing of cattle together with modern manufacturing techniques enable us to obtain the very best milk from which to elaborate our lactic products.
